With a chain of custody you can point at if anyone asks. Where records go into storage rather than to the new premises, they go in listed rather than stacked.

A floor plan finished before the move starts
Every crate coded to a destination position, printed in advance. It is the difference between a new office that is usable and one that is a stack of boxes somebody has to sort out.
That is how most business moves here run — evenings and weekends, and usually the only time the building and the street are available to you.
That is what the planning prevents. The coding and labelling are finished before the move starts. What you lose is an evening or a weekend.
We move it; we do not decommission or recommission it. Servers and racks are lifted in coordination with whoever maintains them.
