Services

Everything we do

Eight services. The wrapping standard is identical on all of them — the difference between a whole house and a single wardrobe is scale, not care.

  1. 1

    House removals

Whole homes across IG and east London.

Victorian and Edwardian terraces, interwar semis and the larger houses towards Woodford — looked at room by room and moved by a crew who stay with the job throughout.

  2. 2

    Terrace & period homes

    Narrow halls, half-landing turns.

The houses that make up most of Ilford. The hall and the stair turn decide the day, and both get measured before anything is lifted.

  3. 3

    Flat & apartment removals

Conversions, blocks and Barking new build.

The route out of the building is planned before anything else, because in a flat that decides the day far more than the furniture does.

  4. 4

    Man and van

A room, a part load, one heavy thing.

Same wrapping and same crews at a smaller scale, priced by the job rather than by a clock you have to keep watching.

  5. 5

    Office & business removals

High Road units and small offices.

Desks, IT, stock and records moved out of hours and set out to a plan, so you are trading again at the new address rather than unpacking in front of customers.

  6. 6

    Packing & careful handling

All of it, some of it, or just the boxes.

Full pack, part pack — usually the kitchen and anything framed — or materials dropped off in advance so you can work at your own pace.

  7. 7

    Storage between dates

For the gap in a chain.

Containerised and listed on the way in, so the load waits somewhere sensible and comes back out in a useful order.

  8. 8

    European removals

Ilford to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Road moves out via the A406, the M25 and the Channel, with the customs declaration built from the survey record and lodged before the vehicle travels.

Packing & careful handling

Quoted separately from carrying because it is separate work, and because plenty of people want to do some of it themselves.

  • Full pack — every room, our crew, in the order the load leaves
  • Part pack — usually the kitchen, the glass and anything framed
  • Materials only — cartons, paper, tape and covers in advance
  • Unpacking to whatever level you want

Storage between dates

Containerised, for the gap in a chain — not a self-storage unit you rent and load yourself. If regular access is what you need, a storage company suits you better and we will say so.

  • Packed and loaded by us, with the same materials as a move
  • Listed on the way in, so one item is findable later
  • Loaded so what you want first comes out first
  • Delivered back out when the dates are finally firm

Four things we will not do

A firm that says yes to everything is telling you something. These are outside our trade.

House clearance and waste removal

A different trade under a different licence. We take away our own packing materials and nothing else.

Appliance disconnection

Gas, plumbed and hard-wired work needs a qualified engineer. We plan the day around their visit.

Cars and motorbikes

They belong on a transporter — a specialist will do it better than we would.

Grand pianos and rare instruments

Uprights routinely. Beyond that we point you at a specialist rather than learn on your instrument.

Not sure which you need?

Describe the move and we will tell you — including when the smaller, cheaper option is the right answer.
